About us

NasaInArabic is a voluntary initiative for Arabic speaking youths. It was founded in 1st Jan. 2013, aiming for developed and cultured Arabic speaking communities through translating every thing regarding Physics in particular, and science in general, including the most leading research projects and academic studies from NASA in addition to other scientific journals.

Making their efforts to spread the word of science in the Arabic speaking region, and preserving the integrity of information, the members of NasaInArabic translate information from its first resources.

Our initiative on Aljazeera

Our vision:

This initiative was developed to revive the Arabic language and heritage. We aim to empower Arabic youths and develop their abilities in the most important recent scientific fields. The initiative respects all beliefs and religions, and never welcomes any racist or extremist views.

The targeted audience of this initiative is: Academics and graduate students, university students, and individuals over 6 years old.

Since we believe that the last targeted group is very important, we publish educational articles. We believe that teaching a new generation contributes in building a developed open-minded community, and educating grown-ups contributes in building a community that believes in the importance of science and knowledge.

Our team:

The general group: includes all members of NasaInArabic. Working on sharpening the volunteers' skills to involve them in effective and important roles, it represents the essential group and the strongest part of the initiative. 

Board of directors: includes representatives from all teams in the initiative. Headed by Tareq Naser as a representative of the initiative. 

The website group: responsible for the website. Homam Betar, while Tareq Halaby is responsible for the technical part.

Translation group: responsible for translating articles.

Editing group: responsible for editing articles. 

Multimedia group: responsible for translating videos, subtitling, and montage. Coordinated by Sarah Kamil .

Social media group: responsible for publishing in social media. Coordinated by Sarah Kamil.

NasaInArabic considers voluntary work seriously; since it is able to improve communities. New volunteers are always welcome. we believe that there are hard things, but there is no impossible thing, and this is why "make a hit, apply your idea" is the most important group in our initiative.

Finally, we note that all translated articles and videos in NasaInArabic website are an intellectual property, that belong to NasaInArabic. All individuals and institutions are allowed to use and publish it in newspapers, media outlets, or social media for scientific and educational purposes, on condition of crediting them.
